Attend Training (Drop-in & Scheduled Sessions)  


Training on the Banner Student Information Systems (SIS) is offered by dedicated trainers who work as part of Student Administration: Student Data and Systems Team. We offer training to all staff who use Banner SIS and other SIS related systems. All users must complete Banner Basics Part One before they are given access to the Banner SIS system. 

Which training is right for me?

Because much of our training covers specialised areas, it may not immediately be clear which training is best for you. The SA Consultant Trainers can help you identify which training you require by carrying out a short assessment of your Banner SIS training needs. This is known as a SIS Learning Pathway.   

What training is available?

We offer a range of training courses, from introductory to advanced, covering Banner SIS and other business systems including BI Query, Argos and Gradebook.

All training materials can be found within the relevant toolkit in Blackboard

There are many Student Information System training sessions that are completed online within Blackboard.

Scheduled Classroom training

Classroom training can be booked onto online, via the HRD course booking system
